Data FAQ

Here are some commonly asked questions about data:

Is there any data being stored in CDT after completion of queries?
Yes,  the outputs or widgets’ execution is stored in an encrypted binary format, both column names and column datas. If data stays for 30 days without refreshes, it will be automatically removed from our database.

Sometimes we store datas in our database and sometimes in S3. Same 30-day-expiration-logic applied to S3 stored outputs, but it is then deleted by AWS. The decision on where to store data (our database vs S3) is made based on logic, including the size of the result.

If not using CDT/Sisense cache or CDT storage, does this still mean CDT can store our data?
If a customer does not use CDT/Sisense cache or CDT storage, then data is NOT stored anywhere else.
