Setting Default Filters on the Workbooks (also known as Dashboards)

Setting default filters on the dashboard guarantees that anybody visiting the page for the first time will have the same filters applied. Dashboards that are emailed are always sent out with the default filters. For more information about setting up emailed reports, follow the instructions here.

Selecting the Filters

To set default filters, first select the filter options to be set as the default options.

Once the desired options are checked, click "Set As Default" and the specified options will be set as the default filter view.

Returning to Defaults

When multiple filters are applied, there is an easy way to return to default settings. Start by opening up the filter tab again.

Next, click "Reset Filters", and they should revert to the default options. Finally, click "Apply", and the default filter options will again take effect.
